This rechargeable model begins with thesame great foundation as Helix Basecamp - a
collapsible globe and folding legs aid inwide light dispersion, plus multiple hanging
options. This particular lantern is powered bya rechargeable lithium ionbattery, cutting
down on disposable battery useand saving a bunch of cash over the life of the lantern.
Plan to beaway from power for a long time? Helix Rechargeable can operate on 3 AA cells if
needed. The power dial controls dimmable white and red LEDs in thesame intuitive manner
as old-school gas lanterns. Lockout prevents accidental turn on, while a built-in USB port
allows for charging a phone, GPS or other compatible device.
